Piezoelectric Bimorph
Category: Piezoelectric Actuator Product Inquiry
Flexible piezoelectric device that bends under voltage or generates signal
A Piezoelectric Bimorph is a flexible actuator or sensor made from two piezoelectric layers bonded to either side of a substrate (or directly to each other). When an electric voltage is applied, one layer expands while the other contracts, causing the structure to bend or flex. Conversely, when the bimorph is physically deformed, it generates an electrical signal, enabling it to function as a sensor.
Piezoelectric bimorphs are lightweight, highly sensitive, and capable of precise micro-motion or vibration generation, making them ideal for a wide range of actuation and sensing applications.
